Leaflet Maps Marker (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Bing Maps)
[resolved] front end marker list, any way to collapse it? (4 posts)

I have a list of 15 markers that appear below my map http://jeff-foliage.com/2013/02/10/best-times-for-new-england-fall-foliage/

Is there a way to collapse this list so my post isn't 10 meters long? If it's in there I'm missing it. I don't mind having the marker list there but I would like in minimized...

Does it need to be there? out on the front end for my readers?

    Hi Jeff,
    there are two options:
    1. you can disable the list of markers below layer maps - there is a checkbox for that on layer edit page or
    2. you can change the number of markers to be displayed (default: 100) - just click on the number 100 on layer edit page to get to the settings area where you can change that.
    best,

Thanks.. I spent all my time on the marker pages and I didn't look on the layer page... For now I'll turn them off but it would be nice to have the markers there and expandable...

Now the one question I would ask can Google see them the markers and the images or are they buried to deep in the database? That would be a good reason to keep them visible... From a SEO standpoint...

    Hi Jeff,
I think about collapsing more in detail and possibly put this feature on the roadmap.
Ad SEO:I am not quite sure - marker maps should get indexed as info for popuptext is in sourcecode of the page. Data for layer maps gets loaded via GeoJSON not visible in sourcecode out of the box. Will let you know if I find out something here
    Best,
    Robert
