    Hello, cool plugin.

I’m developing on localhost and I see outgoing calls from the front-end…

    fry.x-team.com

Haven’t been able to look through all the code yet. Still developing locally. As performance and security is important, how many calls are going on and what are they and why?

    Thanks

  • Hello! Thanks for the comment.

These are calls happening to to our website server to obtain the list of available extensions for the extensions screen. But these calls should be pretty rare as the results are stored in a transient with a 6 hour TTL.

Okay, thanks. I’ll keep poking around. So the transient TTL is every 6 hours not every call? The calls seem very frequent (haven’t timed them yet). I’m using Little Snitch on Mac.

Yes, the transient data is used to prevent frequent calls. We’d love to learn what you come up with on this.
