   Noob question, no doubt so sorry up front. But can't see a way to download new themes from announcements on wordpress.com -- Garland (aka Themetastic) and “Twenty-eight Thirteen” look great -- see from the comments that folks have found source files and are trying them out. Just don't see how/where?

   WordPress.com themes are made available to users there through their admin interface, so there is no downloading involved.

   You'd have to look for similar themes in such places as http://themes.wordpress.net/

   That is true if your blog is domain.wordpress.com but not if you host your blog on your own site ie. domain.com. So I have the same question Chris has--where can you download it for a site that is not hosted at wordpress.

   As far as I'm aware, at this time, the theme does not exist as a download for self-hosted WordPress.

   It looks like Garland is being saved for WordPress.com customers, but 2813 is available here ...
