From "Save Changes" to "Complete Verification – is it instant?

Hi there

I own hellopenang.com

I’ve installed the Pinterest Verify plugin, and pasted the 32 character code.

Clicked Save Changes, then went to Pinterest to click Complete Verification.

After logging in and out, and its been about an hour, I still get:

“Trouble verifying your domain. Please try again later”.

Is this the right forum to check, or should I check with Pinterest?

View the source on your home page if you can (right-click and “view page source” in Chrome).

Do you see the meta tag “p:domain_verify” as outlined in the 2nd screenshot here?

Try disabling other plugins or switching to a stock WordPress theme and see if the meta tag shows up after that. It could be a conflict with something else.

My site is http://www.nicolasdefulop.com
I have the same problem as Hellopenang:
I’ve installed the Pinterest Verify plugin, and pasted the 32 character code.
Clicked Save Changes, then went to Pinterest to click Complete Verification, i get:
“Trouble verifying your domain. Please try again later”.
I´ve checked the source of my home page, and the meta tag is there.
I dont know what else to do.

Nicolas – I also see the meta tag is there properly.

Are you sure you have the right code, and did you select “verify with meta tag” when verifying within your Pinterest account?
