   Hi all,

   I have created a wordpress webpage offline via my WAMP server.
   I followed a tutorial how to tranfer all of my data to a server on the www.
   My question is the following; What will happen to all the URL paths that the images have in my post? Now the images have the URL paths:
   http://localhost/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/image

   Do I have a problem, or will this all be changed by the general settings in WordPress?

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-and-replace/
   works great for swappin the old and new URLs

   (have a backup of the DB first)

   If you plan to do this often, don't forget about virtualhosts on your local. Then you can have the same domain name virtually on a local as on your live. No need to worry about that issue
