from local to host, all content lost

    We downloaded wp and developed a blog on our local server. Trying to install completed blog on host server. Went through 5 steps, installation evidently successful. But after running install.php and receiving blog password, all we get at url is initial rudimentary blog, with none of the pages, widgets, plugins, etc. we had developed locally. All developed content is missing. Are we not connecting to our database? Any ideas?

    Actually Moving WordPress is a better ‘description’ of what you wanted to accomplsh.

    You could do this:
    1. At local install do Tools->Export
    2. At the new blog, do Tools->Import->WordPress using the file created in step 1.
