   Hello,

   I'm confronted with several problems following my move of my blogs to a dedicated server, and that allowed me to find yet another reason to complain against the search engine currently used by WordPress for its support forums. This time, it's too much, I do a - friendly - feedback report.

   I usually like Google, but here, it's doing a very poor job.

   My latest example, struggling to find why Apache2 wants very badly that all my forums be chmodded to 755, with log reporting that
   Permission denied: /some/path/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable

   Please enjoy the irony : a google.com search found me that thread :
   http://wordpress.org/support/topic/moved-to-new-host-now-theme-is-not-working?replies=4

   But searching for pcfg, *pcfg and *pcfg* with the forum's internal search engine, provided by google, gives zero (0) results.

   Was the previous search engine really that bad ? ;)

   The previous search engine was fine. It's just that it was powered by Yahoo, who ... well, decided one day to turn it off.

   And we know the search situation sucks right now. It's on the to-do list.
