   Hello,

   I am trying to install a fresh 2.6.2 on my client's server and though everything seems to install just fine, all I get is the "index of /blog" when visiting the site. Also, I get the index of wp-admin instead of the Dashboard.

   gold enalb inism.com/blog/ (no spaces)

   I installed the files and then visited /blog/wp-admin/install.php. It says that everything was installed. But as you see, it's just the index on the main page. And I don't understand why the Dashboard would just show the wp-admin index of files.

   Help?

   Edit to add: If you click index.php in that list, you do see the default theme. Strange!

   Edit again: Same thing goes with the dashboard. Click index.php and I see the dashboard.

   Solved. IXWebHosting doesn't show index.php as the front page by default. One quick change in the control panel solved this.
