I've copied and edited (in BBEdit Lite) an fr_FR.po file (http://arapao.com/journal/temporaire/fr_FR.po) file, based on the latest i could find (http://wiki.wordpress.org/fr_FR.po). I didn't change the credits. Should i add my name in them?
Does anybody want it? Who would make it an fr_FR.mo file, so that French-speaking bloggers can use WordPress more easily?

Xavier Borderie took charge of the 1.1 po, what is missing is a 1.5 one (and a lot of things have been added especially in the administration part)

Even the 1.1 wasn't up to date... Since I couldn't find a PC to work on the .po file (can't do that on a Mac, I haven't found any software that would help) I wasn't able to introduce the necessary changes for the 1.1 version.
I have now access to a PC, I will work on that in the next few days. I'll use satellio's version to start with something. Only problem at this time, it's not available at the specified address...
Hopefully, somewhere in march we'll have a fr_FR.mo file that will be accurate (not the case at all at this time) and complete (not the case either).I'll post something here when I'll start. I'll create a temporary mailing list where everybody will be able to help and share ideas about terminology for the fr_FR.mo file.

Nevermind, I found the .mo file where it was suppose to be : http://arapao.com/journal/wp-includes/languages/fr_FR.mo
