   I plan to sell about 20 digital products on my WordPress site.

   I'd like to find a good free shopping cart that allows me to do download these files automatically and safely, hands-free, from my already constructed site and pages using Paypal's "Website Payments Standard" merchant account without having to use a different "storefront" or whatever.

   I've installed the WP eshop plugin, and I saw a post that says eshop does this. Can anyone please back that up? If so, I'll go with it.

   Research on this is like a bad piece of meat: the more you chew it, the bigger it gets. There are so many carts, and so many claims, and so many seemingly complex integration methods with WP, for a first-time cart user, I find "storefronts" and "integration" all a bit confusing.

   If anyone is already using a cart they would recommend, I'd appreciate hearing from you. I'm at the point that I'd consider a cart I have to purchase, but I'd rather have a free one that is simple to use with WP.

   When using paypal there is always the chance that they don't contact your site fast enough to allow customers to download straight away, but if they do they can download immediately. If they don't, the details are also included in the email sent to the customer for them to download later on.

   eShop using the but standard business account, which I believe is Website Payments Standard.

   With eShop you attach a product to any page or post, but can use shortcodes to list them all on one page.
