   Just discovered the free platform theme from pageslines.

   I like the theme and have been experimenting with the free theme before purchasing pro.

   I am trying to find out how to customize the CSS without changing the CSS file directly and have found that the question has been asked many times, but never been answered. So pagelines - here it is again:

   Can you edit the CSS on the free platform theme without editing the CSS file directly?

   Your forums are no help, and when the question is asked there it is ignored. You try to force users to pay for the pro version, just to post to the forum. You may think your business practices are clever, but you are totally turning this user off to paying for a theme just due to the fact that you are attempting to force a purchase. That makes me question your ethics.

   What business practices? This is a free, volunteer staffed, forum.

   you are attempting to force a purchase. That makes me question your ethics

   Are you sure that you are posting in the right place? There are no themes for purchase on wordpress.org.

   Read my post, I am talking about the business practices of pagelines. The fact that they provide no free support for the free platform theme is what I am questioning. This has been pointed out before on the wordpress forum. Why are you responding with absolutely no help?

   You have a serious attitude esmi. Try to understand a question before wasting space on a forum to project your ego.

   Ah, I read my initial question again and see where it could be misunderstood. It is directed at Pagelines staff that monitor this forum, not the good people of wordpress!

   At no point did you make that clear in your original post. I also suggest that you moderate your attitude towards the volunteer staff on this forum. No one - niether users nor mods - deserves to be abused. Unfocused ranting is also not the way to elicit assistance.

   As to your question - unlikely unless the theme has a specific custom css option.
