“free” permalink

For WP 2.8.6 and above.

I’m using WP as blog and cms.

For the cms part I like very much being indexed by search engines. For this, I need to have links like:

/hotel/paris/
/hotel/berlin/
and so on

I have a static page “hotel” and then I’d like the capability to append string to the url as many as I wish. If I do that without any modification I get 404 because WP looks for some parent/child pages.

How do I tell WP to not look for childs pages for certain pages, such as “hotel” in the example?
