    Hi,
    I have a small problem with sidebar color when I move it from left to right (I use fourteen extended plugin). It seems that main color does not work when sidebar is located at the right side.

    I think that the best and easiest solution is to add support for the new element of .site:after

    What do you think about that? Can you incorporate that ?

    Unfortunately, that could break customizations on a lot of users' sites. Additionally, the primary sidebar being on the left is fundamental to the Twenty Fourteen theme, as is the theme's left alignment. Since this plugin focuses on compatibility with Twenty Fourteen core, it would be Fourteen Extended's responsibility to integrate this change.

    Some pseudo-code for doing that (inside <style> tags in wp_head()):

    // apply custom contrast color to right sidebar
    if ($right_sidebar) {
    $contrast = get_theme_mod('contrast_color');
    if($contrast) {
    echo '.site:after { background-color: ' . $contrast . ';';
    }
    }

    Fourteen Extended could theoretically implement color support for some of its other customization options this way, with similar Fourteen Colors integrations.
