Forum Like this one

I want to add a forum to my site not unlike the one we are all using here.

I have tried WP-Forum but it does not work correctly. Can anyone recommend a decent forum that I can plugin to my site, I am happy to pay for something that works well.

But am I right in thinking bbpress is a separate application. What I really want is just a plugin to wordpress.

the only plugin i know of is

wp-forum

i tried installing that and it didnt work for me either

I did a install of phpbb3 and put a redirect on my forum page
