   So. I had finally created my own wordpress theme. I'm actually happy with the way it came out, though in the next version of the site, I want to clean things up. Have any idea/suggestions or criticism?

   I would make the "view/add comments" in the front page in a box with a background or something like the post title, seems alone now.
   And I would also make the comment boxes inside the post the same width as post boxes, now they have a bigger left and right gap.
   Also too manyyyyy ads all around but, hey, there maybe ppl who need them!

   Overall looks nice and clean!

   I agree with deuced. Just drop that entire Ads section down below everyting else. Where it is now, it's not "above the fold," so that's not an issue. If people are visiting your site, especially a site with content like yours, they'll want to browse the archives or search for what they want. :)

   And I might use that cute little TV you have in the upper left corner with an "advertise here" or "this could be your ad" inside where the screen is in place of those generic blank ad boxes. Maybe a smaller version of the TV. Just a thought. And, since I don't monetize any of my sites, I might be mistaken, but wouldn't only one "empty" ad box do? You'd want to give the impression that your ad space is quickly filled, not that there are a lot of unfilled spaces, right?

   Neither your CSS nor your HTML validate. Your Gallery plugin is throwing out invalid code; but it's otherwise alright, so I wouldn't lose any sleep over that. But you are using HTML 4.0 strict?

   Oh, and I just have to pimp out this technique, it's so awesome. You can create a special page template that will allow you to link to any external page, it will take your visitors directly to Proxy without the redirect and intervening page that you have now. I've got it in use on several of my sites:

   I'm actually quite fond of your layout. I'd agree with everyone else when they say to remove the ads, they really distract from the content. Also, would you mind if I used your theme as a starting point for my site? I really fell in love with what you did.
