Could you let me know if the messages you submit appear in the Feedback menu in your dashboard?
If you don’t see them there either, could you paste the shortcode you used here?
Thanks!
I did receive the posts in my feedback menu.
Ok. Could you try to send emails to a another email address, thanks to the option under “Email Notifications” in the form builder?

Once you’ve entered your email address, saved your changes, and rebuilt the form, you will want to make sure that your email address is correct in the generated shortcode.
Let me know if it helps.
I changed the email address I had in the “Email notifications”, IT WORKED!
I had a gmail address in there before…why would it not work with that?
I also have another quick question about the drop down lists:
Even though I have ticked “required”, it still does not give the red-letter warning if they’re not used.
Can you answer that as well?
Many thanks for your help!
Kristin

The emails might have been filtered and sent to your Spam folder in Gmail. You might want to check there to find the missing emails.

Could you point me to the page that includes the form? I browsed your site but couldn’t find any Jetpack contact form.
Sorry–I had it saved as a draft so my clients don’t use it yet. I have published it now–

thanks,

p.s. I’m pretty sure I checked my spam and the emails weren’t in there.
Could you paste the shortcode generated by the form builder here, so I can take a look and try to reproduce the issue? You’ll want to remove your email address of course, as this thread is public.
Thanks!

Thanks!
It seems you’ve aded “PICK AN INSTRUCTOR” and “PICK A DAY” as options. So if a user doesn’t make a choice, “PICK AN INSTRUCTOR” and “PICK A DAY” are submitted.
In such cases, it might be better to use the Radio button option; it would force your readers to make a choice before to submit.
OK, so I guess the drop down actually does not have the option of “requiring” the client to pick (even though it is given as a choice when editing the form).
I will use the radio button then if necessary. It’s just that the drop down makes things visually less cluttered, especially when there are a lot of options for the client to choose.
Thanks for checking on this Jeremy!
