Formatting text and placing pics.

Hi,
I’ve posted my first article on my weblog.
I placed a picture at the beginning of the article.
Since the picture is vertical it left an ugly blank space in the right zone of the page.
How can I fix this?
I’d like to place text at the right of the pic and make this continue in the bottom.
