Hi,
I discovered this morning that the background for my blog was not populating correctly, and that my sidebar was now down below my entries. Thinking the theme was corrupt, I tried two other themes with the same results. I am sure it is a simple setting somewhere, but I don't know where to look.
Thanks!
Sue
Most likely something in a recent post is too wide and causing the problems. Images and video clips are usually the culprit.
Thanks Jeremy,
The only thing is the images are much more narrow than the text...
Does WordPress not wrap the text if we upload it from another source?
Thanks!
Sue
By other source you don't mean Microsoft Word, if you do then shame. Never use word to copy and paste use notepad or wordpad, Word sticks in all kinds of stupid hidden characters that will cause havoc.
Jeremy,
it turns out it WAS the image, but I have no idea why as it was much narrower than the text.
For my blog content, I create it in a tool called The Journal by David Michael.
Agreed concerning Microsoft Word.
I'd very much appreciate your help in understanding the issue with the image. I wasted a big chunk of my day on this today.
Many thanks,
Sue
Put the image back in another post and then give a link to that post and I'll see if I can't figure out why it was causing problems.
