   My posts come out in one large paragraph. It seems any formatting I put in it is lost once I hit publish. When I look back to edit the post, the formatting is still there, but it does not show up on the published page. I tried putting in the html but that doesn't work either. Any help??

   I'm having the same problem, but with my entries I can put in formatting and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It seems like my blog editor has a mind of its own.

   I'll join.

   I'm having the same problem. No matter what I type in to the code textarea, nothing is kept when I hit publish or save.

   WordPress seems to be adding a lot of useless inline-styling and tags. I'm about to, nope, I just went crazy.

   I'm having similar problems. Adding extra tags, not saving tags I place, etc..

   If you use the wysiwyg (visual) editor - it will NEVER work with code.
   If you want to add your own code - turn it OFF. DO not switch between visual and code, but turn it off definitely (admin > Users > Your profile). The wysiwyg is not expecting that you type code: it expects content (=text) and nothing else.
