[resolved] Form Customization (5 posts)

    Hi everyone.

    I'm working on customizing my first WordPress site and I'm having some difficulty with my form fields. Right now it's only affecting the search box and button, but I'm going to go out on a limb and assume I'll have the same issue when I add in other form fields. Everything looks fine when the site is first loaded, but as soon as you click in the search box to type, it changes. I can't find what's triggering this change or figure out anyway to override it. Also, when you hover over the submission button for the search, it changes to a white box. I would guess this is the same white background that's loading on the search box. Can anyone point me in the right direction to rectify this?

    Thanks so much!

    Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

    Ah corks. This is why I shouldn't post to forums at 3 in the morning.
    Site is here. :)

    It's in base.css:

    input:focus, textarea:focus, button:hover {
        background: #fff;
        border-color: #777 #CCC #CCC #777;
    }
