Forgot Password Doesn't Send Email (Still Get Success Message) (2 posts)

    I've been looking through the support topics and although several have to do with password recovery issues, I am having a problem that doesn't seem to be listed here.

    When I use the Profile Builder [wppb-recover-password] form it gives the following message, but never sends an email to the user:

    "A password reset email has been sent to someone@example.com.
    Following the link sent in the email address will reset the password."

    I am using the latest versions of both WordPress and Profile Builder.

    Can anyone provide any insight into why this might happen?

    is your server configured to send out emails?

    Please let me know if you have tried doing this on another server also, or maybe deactivate temporarily all the other addons.
