I had this working until the most recent upgrade to the plugin
AHA:
– it works when i access an album directly
– it doesn’t work when I access the album through a virtual album: i.e. search tagword

AND based upon that, I got it to work! here is what i did:
previously, i had used the edit widget on new post/page to insert the appropriate wpaa script. however, if i manually put in the newstyle shortcode instead, the foreign code is processed appropriately.

I was just looking at it and discovered that it does work when ajax is switched off (Table IV-A1). Thanx for your analysis, i will get into it, and at least note it in the doc if i cannot quickly sove it.

Most shortcodes will also work when ajax is on, please check before relying on that.
