   So, after looking at this article here, I went ahead and created a .htaccess file in my wordpress folder. I made sure it had 644 permission. Then, I added the code as suggested in the linked article: AddType application/octet-stream .mp3

   Yet, it wasn't a success for me. Google Chrome still opens the mp3 in the browser. Any ideas?
