Forbidden error when switching hosting

Hi,

I have no idea what I have done here. I transferred a domain to my new webhost and installed the files on the new server and uploaded the mysql database and I am getting an error when I try and access the site.

I have permalinks enabled and I am not sure if it is anything to do with that. If so and I need to get a .htaccess file from the old server, this is not possible as the domain and hosting have now been fully transferred.

Also I transferred a domain to my new host with permalinks enabled and it all worked fine. Not sure what I am doing wrong?

One other point, I contacted my new host about the problem and they put it down to scripting error on my part, as they checked

http://www.petheaven.org.uk/license.txt and it worked fine.

Can anyone help?
