    I'm a little overwhelmed by the selection of plugins/widgets out there. That being said...I have a three column sidebar option for footer widgets. I want to put in three "boxes" if you will that I can add simple things like Locations and service times, upcoming events and new announcements or something like that. I just want to basically put text that I create in the editor to accomplish that. An excellent example of what I want to do is shown in this site. http://www.saltcreekchurch.org/ I want the three boxes under the main content. I need it to be a simple widget or plugin so I don't have to worry about HTML, coding, etc...Any help would be greatly appreciated! Oh, my website is http://www.camptonheights.org/

    there should be a plugin for a 'editable' textwidget;

    That definitely helps. I was using every keyword in the book except that combination. I got hung up on sidebars. I downloaded several different plug-ins and will start working on them one by one. Did you happen to look at the Salt Creek site to see what I was talking about?
