[resolved] Footer Troubles (10 posts)

    I have been working on a WordPress website, but have run into an issue with the footer on several pages. While I browser it on Firefox, on the home page the footer works like I want it to, but on the others it does not. They end up crammed in a corner and not attached to the bottom and spread out all of the way like on the home page.

    This is the first time I have worked with WordPress, so I would appreciate any help so I know better in the future. Thank you.

    Which page does the footer not work and what specifically is wrong?

    Sorry, I should have been more specific. It is only on the firefox browser, and all of the pages besides the home page are having the issue. On the home page the footer is spread out from corner to corner of the browser and attached to the bottom, while on the other pages they end up on the side of the other content and all over the plage.

    Sorry, I can't replicate the problem. Which browser & browser version does the problem persist on?

    My website is blog.emilyburklow.com

    My version of Firefox is 17.0.1.

    Here's images of what is happening:
    Working right on other browsers:

    Try adding clear: both; to the footer

    Add this just above your <footer> tag (should be in your footer.php file):

    <div class="clear"></div>

    And then in your theme's style.css file add this:

    .clear { clear: both }

    That should do the trick.

    :)
