Hello, I've just installed WordPress and I'm trying to adapt an xhtml/css template to it.

I'm encoutering problems to position my footer.

I used the box model hack as described by A List Apart :

But it still doesn't work. Actually, the footer places itself at the bottom of the actual site of the browser, wich means that when you scroll, you see it goes over what is behin the end browser screen line :(

Thank you very much for your help !

You are using absolute positioning. That's the problem, as I see it. Try clear:both instead of the absolute positioning.

Thank you very much miklb. I removed the absolute positioning and replaced by blocks positioned with widths and floats, and then clear:both on the footer and everything looks perfect.
