Footer overlapping on a fixed floated header (3 posts)

    Hello guys,

I'm in a middle of a pickle. I have a layout with a fixed floated header on the left and a div for content floated on the right.

If the content is long, then the footer div would stay on the bottom but if my content is short, it overlaps with my floated header.

Ideally, my footer should be below the content or the floated header. I need help.

I made this little page for you to see it:
    http://jsfiddle.net/ASwtv/

Help would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Start by sorting out the markup errors. Then move onto the CSS errors.

The easiest way to fix this error is to add an empty div:clear:both under div#content
