    Hi there, just setting up my first ever wordpress site and am using thr oriental theme but have amended all the graphics etc.

    Almost there on how I want the site apart from the footer.

    On all main pages it is perfect but as soon as I click in to read a posted article the footer moves to the right. I have fiddled around with the css and the coding but can't see what I am doing wrong.

    In the footer.php file, if I move

    <div id="footer">
    <?php wp_footer(); ?>
    </div>

    to below

    </div><!--/container-->

    then it lines up fine on the post pages but every other page then screws up and the footer block moves over to the left.

    I have the reading settings set so it shows a static home page and the posts page is labelled up as 'Latest News'

    Can anyone advise? Any help most welcome

    probably two closing </div> missing in probably single.php.

    you need to check that all divs are properly closed in the proper sequence.
