    Hi, i posted this a day ago but haven't fixed the issue yet.

    i want to fix the following on my site

    1. how do i get the footer menu to be horizontal, with the copyright in a separate line?

    2. how do i raise the header menu border so it is directly underneath the menu text? (the sitemap page addition made it shift)

    If you can help, please assist

    cheers

    In the wordpress admin, go to "Appearance" -> "Editor". Then on the right side find the footer.php file. Here you can modify the actual code for the footer for your theme. Browsers ignore new lines so if you want to move soemthing to its own line place a break tag as illustrated below before the text or object:

    <br />

    You can modify the header in the same way

    also, i thought there'd be a number to change the line break of the header but there isn't. what do i change to have the header menu border directly under the menu text?

    They're vertical because they're in an unordered list:

    #
    <ul>
    #
            <li><a href="http://losebuttfat.org">Home | </a></li>
    #
            <li><a href="http://losebuttfat.org/kick-butt-cellulite-review">Kick Butt Cellulite Review | </a></li>
    #
            <li><a href="http://losebuttfat.org/fat-loss-secret-review">Fat Loss Secret Review | </a></li>
    #
            <li><a href="http://losebuttfat.org/articles">Articles | </a></li>
    #
            <li><a href="http://losebuttfat.org/sitemap">Sitemap</a></li>
    #
    </ul>

    if you remove the following tags the links should display on one line

    <ul>, <li>, </li>, and </ul>
