Footer links dead on certain pages (6 posts)

    For some reason, on certain pages (http://goodrichresidential.com/testimonial "HOME" "ABOUT" "DOCUMENTS" & "BLOG") my footer links don't show up as links, just text.

    The error only occurs on certain templates, in this case the "Documents Template". Can anyone help me with this issue?

    Thanks

    Dan

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    The theme should not be the issue, as those links have worked in this theme before.

    I also deactivated any plug-in that was installed after the issue appeared, so that does not seem to be the issue.

    The problem arose when I moved all the links from the main menu bar, and created the secondary footer.

    Could the problem exist in the template possibly?

    Template=Theme

    Did you do an upgrade of WordPress core files recently? Maybe your theme is not written to work with the newest version of WordPress, that has happened to me in the past.

    OK. Thanks for the clarification ; )

    I did do an upgrade to the WordPress core files recently (well not me, someone else with access to the site did, just found this out now). The theme was downloaded two years ago and is no longer available. New updates have been created for it, but by updating the theme, all the edits to the custom template will be lost.

    Is there anyway I can work around this?

    Thanks,

    Dan

    I'm sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme's vendors.
