I am designing a wordpress theme and the code is validated and the layout is working fine in browsers such as firefox, safari, and google chrome. However, in Internet Explorer the footer appears directly underneath the posts and pages but is not appearing directly underneath the sidebar which at the moment is longer than the posts. I am using the widget-ready sidebar and I was wondering if that had anything to do with it? But possibly not since it is only a problem in IE.

I am currently designing the layout offline and therefore do not have a direct link to show you. But if anyone is willing to spare a moment to help me out, I would be more than willing to show you any codes you would need to look at.

Here are some screenshots I have created to show you exactly what I mean:

    Firefox (good):

    Internet Explorer 6.0 (bad):

Help to fix this problem is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Try a float:left on your footer DIV's CSS
