I am having trouble when my site is being viewed on ie7.

The footer floats on top of the header instead of being in the correct position, however, it works fine in other browsers I've tested.

The url of the site is http://openfilm.createwp.com

You can see the difference in ie 6, 7 & 8 by using this page:

    http://ipinfo.info/netrenderer

I've tried various things, but can't seem to get the footer in place on ie7 which, as you can imagine, is not much help.

I can't get support from the designer as it is HotGoss from StyleWP, and there has been no support on there since mid-January.

You've got a bunch of code errors, like missing closing tags: [Invalid]Markup Validation of openfilm.createwp.com - W3C Markup Validator. Scroll down in the validation report to see line numbers and source code. Maybe the biggest error is that <div style="overflow:auto;"></div> is above your </head> call in header.php, which is most of the problem.

Thanks, I removed that and just discovered the thing that was causing all the problems, a solitary little </div>
