    I’m a newbie tweaking Alex King’s “Wallpaper style sheet with the WP 1.5 theme. http://www.featuringdave.com/wordpress/.

    FOOTER: What should I do to incorporate the Creative Commons plug-in (WP-CC) so that it goes inside the footer? Notice how it is ‘below’ the footer. Do I need to expand the footer height?

    SIDEBAR:

    1) In the sidebar, I want to decrease the font size of the link categories (Indispensable, News) to be the same as “Archives and “Meta.

    2) I’m trying to get the “Powered By items toward the bottom of the page (e.g, Site Meter icon, Get Firefox icon, etc.) to be in the sidebar. I placed the various codes in “sidebar.php. For example, for the “Site Meter icon, I entered:

    <b>Powered By:</b>
    <br>

    <!--WEBBOT bot="HTMLMarkup" startspan ALT="Site Meter" -->
    <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript">var site="sm3LogicalMeme"</script>
    <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript1.2" src="http://sm3.sitemeter.com/js/counter.js?site=sm3LogicalMeme">
    </script>
    <noscript>

    <img src="http://sm3.sitemeter.com/meter.asp?site=sm3LogicalMeme" alt="Site Meter" border="0"/>

    </noscript>
    <!-- Copyright (c)2005 Site Meter -->
    <!--WEBBOT bot="HTMLMarkup" Endspan -->

    Footer: I believe the instructions for the cc plugin tell you how to put the tags in your footer or elsewhere. Follow those instructions and open the footer.php and put them where you want them to go.

    Not familiar with the theme you are using, you can copy the Powered by WordPress information and paste it anywhere you want it, moving it from the footer to the sidebar or vise versa. Just find the information in the sidebar.php or footer.php and copy and move it.

    Sidebar font sizes: to change the font sizes in the sidebar, use the instructions in the article, Finding Your CSS Styles, and you will soon be changing them to whatever you need to make them right in the style.css file.

    I also recommend you take a look at Styling Lists with CSS.
