Footer content not showing on homepage

I’ve got the footer areas in twenty-eleven set up with custom menus, which display perfectly on all pages apart from the homepage.

On the homepage one of the footers, running a text widget is fine, but the other two display the title of the menu but nothing else.

I’ve not changed sidebar-footer.php at all (I’ve also tried replacing it with a fresh one), but no luck.

I have no idea what might be causing it, can anyone help?
