    Hi - I'm having 2 problems with my wordpress blog.

    here's my blog: http://www.bluedeerdesigns.com/beingsforpeace/

    1) I'm using the default template and changed the white background to a blue but I keep having a white line at the bottom (under the footer) - do you know how I can remove this?

    2) I changed the header to a banner and when I reload my template, I notice a big block of blue while the white banner loads. I looks bad - is there a way I can fix this?

    thanks!!

    1) are you sure you completely recolored the kubrickfooter.jpg? When I change the body background to #000, the white line remains. I think the only thing there is the footer image.

    2) take a look around line 233 in the css.

    #header {
    background-color: #73a0c5;

    2) You have to change header background color to white.
    I had the same problem and I changed background color to the main color on a header picture here. So, while header picture is loading user will see header without picture, but colored similar.

    The header background reference appears in two spots in the default theme (Kubrick) style.css. Here are the exact locations in your present stylesheet.

    #header {style.css (line 232)
    background-color:#73A0C5;
    height:200px;
    margin:0 0 0 1px;
    padding:0;
    width:758px;
    }

    #header {style.css (line 38)
    background:#FFFFFF url(images/banner.jpg) no-repeat scroll center center;

    As Vazyan says, if the issue persists,changing #73A0C5 to #FFF on line 233 may address the problem.

    I'm positive that I have colored the entire image I'm using for the footer, yet I'm getting the white line issue under the footer as well. Any ideas?
