font style and color

    I just realized that I am unable to change the font or color of my font while typing a new post. i have the standard bold B, I for italics, strikethtough, align left, center, and right. but below that should be the font, font size, color etc.
    whats going on? where is it?
    i have the Adventure 1.5.5 by Eric Schwarz theme installed on one site
    and Twenty Ten 1.2 by the WordPress team on two other blogs and all three do not show this “bar”

    please help/.
