   So when I set the font size for my footer area, but then when I tried to change the size of font in the widget area, it changed the footer size, but didn't do anything to the widget area text size. http://www.discoverhappydecorah.com

   Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of work.

   Thanks, that is actually what I used. I was able to change the sidebar fonts. But my footer font is set to 20px, but is definitely not 20px.

   Try checking with Firebug again. Your footer font is set to 62.5%.

   Thanks. The font size under body, is also controlling the footer font size. thanks! On a side note- I have it set to have a background image for the footer area, but for some reason its not coming through. Any thoughts?
