Font size change not appearing in browser (5 posts)

I used this bit of HTML <strong><span style="font-size: 30 px;">Free Estimate</span></strong> to increase the font size of a few individual words on a page. The change shows up in Visual view in my editor but the change does not show up when the page is viewed in my browser.

I am using Headway and I tried switching to Twenty Eleven to see if my theme was the problem, but it is not.

Google search, and search of this forum has yielded no relevant information.

    Thanks for any help.

You just put '!important' on every css-styling.

    <strong><span style="font-size: 30 px !important;">Free Estimate</span></strong>

    Hope it works.

  3. It could be the browser you are using. I can see the font size different on Chrome on my Mac.

Try using font-size: 25px instead of 25 px... The space between the number and units might be causing issues.

I'm using Chrome same as you but it's not showing up, but for some odd reason it's working in Safari, and I restarted Firefox and it's showing up there. I am assuming that if I restart Chrome I will have similar results.

Thanks for the help. I think that did it.

  5. Some browsers tend to be sticky. You can also clear the cache, that often helps.
