Font Rendering Problem – WordPress Integrated Site w/ Google Fonts.

Does anyone using Google Chrome on a Mac, have any idea why our wordpress site w/ google fonts api, isn’t working properly?

Take a look at our main site:
    http://kitchendip.org/

The main site’s far left column is not rendering the font properly in Google Chrome. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Code errors: [Invalid] Markup Validation of kitchendip.org – W3C Markup Validator. Scroll down in the validation report to see line numbers and source code. Esp. get rid of the extra <html> and <head> above the doctype in header.php

Found the issue. Wasn’t validation problems, but thanks for the help.

KitchenDip – Would you mind telling me what the issue was? I’m having the same problem and would appreciate some insight into the problem.
    Thanks!

hstryk – I don’t know exactly what our coding guy did, but he mentioned that our font tags weren’t properly in order, so certain browsers had trouble rendering the fonts.

So make sure the things in the header are properly there, and make sure you are using the font in your CSS properly. Sorry I couldn’t be of a bigger help.

Hmm – I’m using a plugin for the Google font. Perhaps I will just code it in myself. I think the problem has to do with conflicting font tags elsewhere in the CSS. Thanks for the quick response – much appreciated. Your site looks really great btw.
