   The first step would be to create a Child Theme.

   Alternatively go to Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS and add your customizations from there.

   Search can be styled under:

   #searchform {}

   and widgets under several IDs and classes, main is:

   #widgets {}

   but also

   .widget-wrapper {}
