   I was curious, is there a way to make it even more twitter-like by letting users follow each other? And even better, have two timelines: one public (every single post) and one private (only you and the people you are following) ?

   You might try adding Mingle or Buddypress (which is much more complicated)

   hi yeyeman9, I've modded the P2 theme so you can type "@user" in the post itself and it will send those users an email notification.
