I have installed the plug-in "Ultimate Follow Me Plugin by Free Blog Factory" to allow readers to contact with two social networking sites. I have no trouble getting it to connect to my facebook account but I am having trouble with Linkedin. I am asked to put in my user name and when I put in my e-mail address (which is what I use to sign on) Linked in says "an exact match cannot be found." I asked LinkedIn for help thinking that there is some other user name that I should use. They replied "I believe your user name is the primary email address associated with your account." When I told replied that that does not work, they said I need to contact WordPress. Can somebody help me? Thanks.

Posted 1 month ago #I'm having the same trouble. I'm slowly learning my way around WordPress, but I'm not very good yet and this has me stumped. I have no issue with my Twitter account, but the LinkedIn variations I have tried haven't worked. I used my email address, the name that displays on my public profile (and multiple versions thereof), the URL I click to access my public profile... No luck. I either get the message that an exact match can't be found, or that the profile does not exist.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Help is much appreciated!
