Greetings. We are migrating from a wordpress.com hosted blog, to a self-hosted wordpress install. On wordpress.com there is a small follow-me widget which floats in the lower right hand corner, which lets users submit their email address and they'll get notified of new posts.
Is this a homegrown mod, or is this publically available? If its homegrown, is there anything similar available for self-hosted blogs? Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks!
You can see what I mean by looking at the two versions of our blog:
The first is:
http://bethlehemgrocerycoop.wordpress.com/
The second is:
http://www.bethlehemfood.org
Hi msarro,
That particular follow button is something wordpress.com implemented. However, there is a work around for self-hosted blogs here:

Hope this helps!
