Support » Requests and Feedback » Follow a plugin

  • Since WordPress 3’s out, many plugins are not compatible.

It would be nice to have an option do “follow” a plugin in the WordPress Plugin repository to have one centralized alert centre that would tell us when a plugin is updated and capable of working with worpdress.

I am not going to install broken plugin, but I would like to know when it is upgraded so I may use it when it’s ready.

By follow I mean twitter, github or linkedin-style of follow.

In the sidebar on the right of the plugin’s page, there’s an “FYI” section. The last link in this section should be “Development Log.” To the right of this link, there’s a RSS icon that will provide an RSS feed that you subscribe to.

Nice, thank you. Although I somehow I manage to live without RSS reader…
Maybe “follow” style options for WP.org dev community could go to the wishlist.

You’re welcome! They’re still working on the plugin directory, so I’m sure there are plenty of new features in its future.
