The install directions say that I should run a file /wp-admin/install.php. When I unzipped all the files, there weren't any folders. How can I run /wp-admin/install.php if I can't find /wp-admin? Are there other folders that the files should be in?

You got a corrupt download, or your decompression program is bad. Download WordPress again. If that doesn't work, try expanding the archive with a different app.
It could be that you need to set your decompression software to "maintain folder structure" so that it doesn't just unzip as one long list of files.
In WinZip, for example, there is a setting to "Use Folder Names" which keeps the structure of the archive in tact.
I don't think that my program has that feature. Does anyone know a free program that has that feature? I'd rather not pay for WinZip...
Thank you very much! =)
