   Hello,

   Hoping someone can shed some light on why this is happening... been trying different things for the last few hours.

   First, I installed Vipers Video Quicktags plugin and used the button to create the [flv] shortcode, generating [flv]http://reflect-please.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/reflectplease_animatedtype01.flv[/flv], I update my post and check the page out, and no video just the shortcode as text...

   I checked out the documentation and I don't use adsense and I have the wp_head hook etc...

   Thinking it might be my flv, I used a [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJOIpqJ2VqA[/youtube] but no video, just the code as text...

   Next, I tried FLV Embed, with the same result... my [flv:http://reflect-please.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/reflectplease_animatedtype01.flv 425 230] results in no video, just the same code as text...

   Any idea why this is happening? I've searched the forms and found no answers. Thank you in advance.

   Try switching to the default theme temporarily and seeing if that fixes it. If not, disable all other plugins.

   If switching themes fixes it, then your theme isn't using the_content() I assume which it needs to use.

   If disabling plugins fixes it, enable them one by one to find the problematic plugin.
