Using wp-socializer 188.8.131.52 with wp 3.7.1. I have setup the floating share bar as bottom fixed, which makes it appear over the footer bottommost copyright text etc. Also if it set right/left fixed vertical then also hiding contents for a responsive full widht sites pages.
Also, It not looks good when user is in middle of the page, example when in top of the site having a image slider or in middle height of a page reading some content.
For this there should be 'minimize/hide' button can be given along with the floating toolbar on which if a user click the toolbar hide/slideout of screen and again clicking make it visible/slidein. You can have a reference similar done in social toolbar plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/social-toolbar/ .
Also, in admin for floating sharebar an input option should be available for scroll-height (px or %) or upto an dom element #id, so that floating bar should come to visibility fade/slidein when a user scrolled the webpage upto set height or dom element. For reference, somewhat done in the plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/dreamgrow-scroll-triggered-box/ (see its admin settings).
Both the minimise and scroll-height feature applicable to left/right vertical and bottom-fixed horizontal floating sharebar. This will help to hide the always showing annoying toolbar everywhere everytime, hiding backside contents/sliders etc. It will sure make the plugin more usable and popular as none other plugins have these features together.
Please try to implement this in near future release if possible. Shouldn't be a much work.
Thanks for consideration.
