Floating links on top of header image

Hey everyone! This is my first time posting so i apologize if i posted this question in the wrong area and for possibly asking a dumb question.

Here is my question? does anyone know how to put a couple links on my header? I am not talking about main menu links. I am just talking about a couple links like shown in this example: Link you see the links that say “Login and another one that says “Sitemap”. I am sure it is something as simple as a small code that goes in the Style.css . i wanted it to be the same color and go in the exact same place.
