It’s possible, but you’d have to hire a developer to build this for you since it’s such a specific use case:

    Expanding from earlier post.

If you’re already pushing images to Flickr, then the Flickr Shortcode Importer can easily be used to convert your flickr shortcodes into a single [gallery] shortcode than in turn Photo Galleria could manipulate.

I really suggest checking out FSI and seeing if it helps you. If not, could you please let me know the shortcomings?

In the end though, I’m thinking that an Aperture to WordPress piece of software would be best.

    hi michael,

while i study this could you help me out with how i think about Photo Galleria as opposed to something like the theme “Sidewinder? http://graphpaperpress.com/themes/sidewinder/

i mean, i have gotten a bit confused in trying to figure out what is a theme and what may be some kind of WP PLUGIN that enhances the functionality of a theme. and – well – for instance i guess Photo Galleria is a theme and FSI is a plugin to optimize the functionality/workflow of dealing with this theme?

are there other themes that it works with such as sidewinder?

are there other plugins or themes that i could use to optimize my workflow when dealing with this need (portfolio publication to the web)??

    thanks,

    jon

    Jon,

A theme helps you present your information. A plugin helps you grab or manipulate your information.

I think these pages, http://graphpaperpress.com/photoshelter-wordpress-integration/ and http://www.photoshelter.com/mkt/gpp/, do a better job about explaining using PhotoShelter with WordPress. It’s a really slick integration has Aperture support.

If you’re still unclear, let me know about what and I’ll try to help explain better.

    Michael
